The Series 1000 architectural luminaire combines an elegant design with the optical versatility and durable construction you expect from ABS Lighting. The stylish housing begs to be seen, but is small enough to be easily concealed.

Construction Features

Housing: Upper Housing—Constructed of heavy, 12-gauge high purity spun aluminum.
Lower Housing—Cast aluminum, high tensile strength ALMAG-35 with .04% copper free aluminum. Provides 355° fixture rotation. Degree markers are cast into base for precision horizontal orientation. Housing is sealed to base with high temperature gasket to ensure water tight seal.
Lens/Door Assembly: Constructed of 12-gauge high purity spun aluminum equipped with three low profile stainless steel cam fasteners for positive locking and re-lamping without tools. Thermal shock resistant optical lens is mounted with ring retainer and high temperature silicone gasket with no compression set feature. Lens surface is flush to outside of cover to eliminate water collecting on the lens. Lens cover assembly is sealed to upper housing with high temperature closed cell silicone gasket to ensure water and dust tight seal.
Reflector: Electropolished and anodized high purity aluminum Alzak, Coilzak or equivalent. Metal halide optical systems equipped with G-12 bi-pin socket for T-6 MH lamps.
Ballast: Electronic HID Metal Halide ballast offers superior color uniformity, extended lamp life, consistent lamp lumen output and significant energy savings. Ballast has thermal protection and remote mounting capability up to 50' without additional igniter. Ballast is mounted inside base, available in 120 through 277 volt.
Mounting:
Base—Offers three-point mounting, designed for direct wall mount or concrete base mount. Base has 1/2" NPT feature for both rigid and flexible conduit. Remote ballast option is available.
Integral Yoke—Laser cut, 8-gauge aluminum yoke with 5° markers for precision vertical aiming. Six standard designs available. Custom patterns can be designed upon request.
Hardware: All external hardware is 300 series stainless steel.
Finish: Polyester TGIL textured powder coat finish, fired at high temperatures to produce a durable weatherproof coating. Standard colors include black, bronze and silver. RAL and custom color matching is also available. Please consult factory for availability.
UL Listed: Suitable for wet locations. UL1598 rated.
